I can't say enough amazing things about the Wishing Well and it's owners!!! We chose to have our wedding reception here and it could not have been better. We felt completely taken care of and listened to with patience and enthusiasm. Funky atmosphere that was easily reception-fancied and the service was impeccable. Food and drinks were great and we danced all night! Love this place!

Great food, one of the best bartenders in town.. Honestly the best Irish pub in south Florida for what I like. The shepherds pie is homemade and is top shelf. Great tap beers, Magners in the bottle, and the walls are lined with customer signed empty bottles of Jameson that shows what the fire water of choice here is. Sign the bar, grab a lager and enjoy

Went to listen to a local band. Parking is tricky on a Fri or Sat night. Place is laid back and no frills. Decent venue for a band. Efficient servers. Tablemates had food. We did not. No complaints. Decent prices. Mixed crowd from '20s to '50s.

The food was really good i had the wings and sliders! The place was busy so it took a few minutes to get our food, but def worth the wait! The place has a unique charm looked like they had a place for karaoke or a live band which would be fun to see one day!

Very big, roomy place with high ceilings, lots of downstairs seating with candle lights at every table and live music. Upstairs there is a smaller area with a pool table and stools for seating. The food is great and cheap, the drinks are easy to get and cheap too. there are TV's all over the place and some nice, covered, outdoor seating. usually a less dense crowd at this place and a not so loud atmosphere that promotes good conversation with friends or a date. very relaxed acoustic live music dances in the background. its the kind of place everyone knows and no one has a problem going to, especially at the end of the night to wind down.

Good hardy Irish/college bar. Plenty of good swilling goes on here. Solid and can be relaxed too. Parking's a bit of a pain, but not the undoing of the joint.

My husband and I went here for dinner last night to use a LocalDines.com coupon that was about to expire. Would I come back here without a coupon? Mmm...maybe, just for a drink though. The food menu is TINY! I realize it's a bar, and I suppose it's better for the business to offer a concise menu, but as a customer, it felt very limiting. The Guinness Mac N Cheese -- Who wouldn't love that, right? I was so excited to order this, and it when it arrived I was WOW'd by the portion size. It's really sized for a meal, not a Starter. However, there was no flavor to it. Nothing. It was so bland. The house salad? Meh. I'll stop ordering simple house salads at Irish Bars as they pretty much just contain way too much lettuce and little of everything else. My husband's fish and chips were really good. His filet was huge and hot, seasoned just right, and not overly greasy. The french fries were really thin and he received a HUGE pile of them on his plate. They don't have Magner's on tap here, but they do have the bottles, and each table has a menu of bottled and draft beers. While the list isn't huge, it's ample. What really brought this place down a couple of stars for me were the clientele. It really is a place for those in their 20s. When we arrived just before 7pm, there was only one other couple sitting at the bar...about our age - 40s. Within 30 minutes the place started to fill up with many who looked to be 21-25. Our table was near the darts, and a group of 5 young guys around 21-22 years old starting gathering and loudly speaking in uber vulgar language. I'm no prude by any means, and tend to talk like a sailor, but this was over the top vulgarity that showed no manners and down-right rudeness. It should have been contained in a frat house, not in a bar/restaurant. We weren't quite done with our food when I decided I'd had enough, it was time for the bill, and time to leave. The place was filling up with an early 20s crowd that didn't fit with our idea of a fun dinner at a bar. Would I return? Maybe just for a beer, but probably not.

The Wishing Well needs to wish itself into an Irish state of mind. Nothing about this place is authentically Irish, you can wear a Magners T-shirt and dance like a leprechaun, but when you only have Angry Orchid on tap and offer Magners from a bottle and to add ice because its not cold - you clearly have identity issues. We stopped in because it was hot, it was happy hour, and I needed a cold cider stat! As it turns out, there were a few college students at the bar, a busty barmaid who couldn't understand why I was shocked with their limited on-tap selection, and the kitchen was closed. It is quite large for a pub with an upstairs and a stage area for bands. I probably wouldn't go back, not even out of curiosity for tasting the food, lets be honest Boca doesn't have a shortage of college-style Irish bars to choose from.

Best bar in boca. Great staff that is friendly and always makes you feel at home. Also, the best Shepherds Pie in Boca. Definitely recommend for sports games, happy hour, or anytime you wanna go grab a drink and grub with some friends and enjoy a great time.

Came in at around 4:30, got no greeting after walking upstairs to check out their pool table, and also browsed around the dining area. The pool table was smack dab in the middle of a small upstairs nook surrounded by tons of kitchen and beer products, and upturned tables and chairs. We needed change to play and the bar tender had none. It wasn't very clean, had big large bins and food and drink products all over the dining area. It has a nice little patio but nothing special. I guess for a cheap drink during their happy hour (3-7 M-F) this would be somewhere a local could just walk up to and hang for a while. But not somewhere I'd eat at or hang for over an hour unless they have really interesting things going on later on at night. We had to literally go up to the bar tender and ask her what was their specials at the bar, she didn't seem too helpful and just was too busy cleaning. We got two glasses of wine for $6, which is dirt cheap but the ambiance and space wasn't special at all.

Fun place to grab a beer! I went here on Saturday around 9 and there weren't too many people at first which was nice. Then the hippie band with a Randy Newman sound-a-like started playing and while I was expecting them to break out "You Got a Friend in Me" they didnt--thank you band! I guess they have a following because the place was packed full of baby boomers, college kids and everything in between. They have Smithwick's so they are alright in my book---lots of tv's for football as well!

Wishing well has new owners! We have been going there for a bout 8 years as a local pub. I actually met my husband there! Over the last 3 years the previous owner didnt do much to the place but now the new owners are great and the well is getting back to its old glory! Great bands lined up, a whole new menu and new drinks and drink specials. Must stop by!

Great place to stop in the afternoon for a pint or two. The inside feels large, but there's actually not a ton of room in there, so i could see it filling up pretty easily. I liked the outside, with about 10 tables on a covered patio so there is plenty of shade and a breeze too.

Greatest bar in Boca! Laid back Irish Pub, friendly bartenders and quick service. The Well has great drink prices and amazing bar food. Live entertainment is always great too! Stop in and grab a Guinness!

I was home on spring break, and my friend and I were looking for a college bar. Somewhere you can get a pint for $2. No music or dancing necessary, just beer. That's all we needed. Originally we wanted somewhere with a ladies night, or some kind of special, but we lowered our expectations after Googling and driving around for an hour. Finally we came across this place, which I had heard of previously. We walked in and knew it was what we were looking for. Deliciously dive-y and reminiscent of my beloved Gainesville. I'm pretty sure these cheap drinks are few and far between in Boca. I've realized that the college crowd drives south to Ft Lauderdale or north to West Palm, but next time I want to drink locally, this will be my first stop.
